This little pantry light ended up being way better than a “real” light I bought this as a temporary fix for a pantry that had no built-in lighting while I was planning to have it wired properly. Honestly, I thought I’d use it for a couple weeks and forget about it. Six months later it’s still there. It turns on automatically when I walk in or when the room gets dark, which is way more useful than I expected. It also shuts itself off after about 30 seconds, which somehow makes it feel like it’s actually thinking about energy bills for me. There are three brightness settings, and you can dim it or make it brighter just by holding the button. The battery life is solid too. I only have to recharge it about every two weeks. Charging does take awhile though, about 3 hrs. Installation was ridiculously easy. It sticks to the wall using a metal plate and magnets, and you can either use the adhesive strip or screws. I used the sticky backing and it’s held up perfectly for over half a year without slipping or peeling. What started as a temporary fix ended up being the final solution.

Bought this to use for a walk in closet. Very happy with it so far. I like how the light temperature and brightness can be adjusted. The motion sensor works very well and fast. It turns on as soon as it sees you. Then it turns off about 20 seconds after you leave the room. The timer can be adjusted as well. Installation was pretty easy. Just screw the metal plate in where you want it and it sticks on with the magnet. You can also use the adhesive tape instead. Too early to give feedback on battery, but overall very pleased with the light so far.

I have an older home with limited light sources, so I bought this light for my shower ( I was showering in the shadows with no option to install a hardwired light fixture). This works great! It has multiple lighting settings and it has a motion detector setting. Because of where it is, I am using the remote to turn it on and off manually, because it will pick up any motion in the room, which makes the battery run down faster. It looks unobtrusive and blends in with the white ceiling. It seems durable and since it is rechargeable should last a long time. The installation is simple in theory, but the miniature screws to install the metal strip on the ceiling for the light to stick to are very difficult to work with, and the plastic anchors collapsed when I attempted to use them after the whole assembly came out of the drywall when taking it down. So the hardware gets this a four star rating. When you need to take it down to recharge, slide it sideways off the metal plate, don’t pull straight down! The magnets are strong enough that they pulled everything out with it. That being said, I bought two more, one for my dark walk-in closet and one for over my kitchen sink. Since the other two lights were mounted into wood ceilings, they haven’t budged. If you plan to mount this on drywall, get your own hardware!
